Most full-glass ceramic installs are 2 to 3 hours, sedan or pickup. Crew-cab trucks and big SUVs with panoramic roofs run closer to 3 to 4. Drop the car at the Costa Mesa shop, walk over to South Coast Plaza for an hour, come back to a tinted car. Most installs are same-day.
What’s the darkest legal tint in California?
70% VLT on the front side glass and the windshield visor strip; no minimum on rear side and back glass. We carry every shade. We install the legal limit up front and whatever you want on the rear. We do not install illegal front shades — fix-it tickets, tow fees, and lost time cost more than the install.
Can you tint a work truck with a ladder rack or toolboxes in the bed?
Yes. We tint pickups with full work setups all the time. We only need access to the glass; the bed stays as-is and locked while the truck is on the shop floor.
Do you do mobile installs?
No. We’re a shop-based business — no mobile installs, you bring the car to us. Costa Mesa is a quick drive from any Santa Ana ZIP, and a controlled, dust-free shop environment produces a better-looking, longer-lasting install than any mobile operator can match.
